Not only does our fun multi-media campaign for TourismOhio encourage people to drive all over the state, it’s driving big revenue too. TourismOhio just announced that the 2012 campaign resulted in a 15 to 1 return on investment (R.O.I.). That’s a return of $15 in taxes for every $1 invested in tourism marketing, topping 2011’s 14 to 1 and 2010’s 13 to 1 results. Research showed 2.5 million incremental trips helped generate $427 million in new visitor spending.
