we’re 306,600 hours old!

We knew we put in a lot of hours but this is ridiculous! In other words, we’re proud to say Ron Foth Advertising is celebrating 35 years of brand building, sales driving fun! Yep, since 1975. To commemorate the occasion we’ll be posting some Foth Flashback photos all year long for your enjoyment (or to […]

let’s get naked

This year’s ADDY Awards are gonna be…totally exposed. We’re heading up the 2009 “NAKED ADDYs” and we can’t wait to see it all. In fact, a couple Fothies got a head start by cutting out these groovy X-Ray Specs from the Call for Entries we designed. For all the info check out adfedcolumbus.org. Naked ADDYs […]

ron sr. makes leno’s headlines

If you caught “Headlines” on Jay Leno Monday night, you caught a joke written by our very own Ron Foth Sr. Ron sent a funny article in, and Jay got big laughs. So hit that “Applause” button, will ya.

Most companies have a 401(k), but we’ve got a D1 too. Lots of Fothies are taking advantage of another great employee benefit — the D1 Sports Training facility right next door. It’s owned by Buckeye legends Mike Vrabel, AJ Hawk and Bobby Carpenter. Boot camp, kickboxing, cardio, weights, you name it, we’ve “enjoyed” it (although […]

big steaks in the big apple

It was “Old West” meets “New York” on our recent food shoot for Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses. Our production team spent three days in SoHo filled with sizzlin’ steaks, buffet favorites, and other cowboy cuisine guaranteed to give hunger the boot. Yee-haw! Thanks to Sheryl, Kellie, Larry and the whole Ponderosa Posse for a great […]

breakfast bunch

There’s no time like breakfast time…in Account Services. The Account Service gang cooked up a delicious meal on the back patio during a beautiful Spring morning. Egg, ham and cheese sandwiches. Donuts. Banana pancakes. And OJ to wash it all down. Not a bad way to kick off a Friday.

all 10” for emily!

After years of growing that hair of hers, Emily has finally gotten it cut. She donated 10″ of her flowing tresses to Locks of Love, a charity that provides hairpieces to disadvantaged kids suffering from long-term medical hair loss. Way to go Emily. p.s. We love the new do.

addys best of show 2009

It was a night to celebrate! (Some of us celebrated a little too much.) As we took top honors at this year’s Addy Awards for the Safelite Autoglass “Crack in the Sidewalk” campaign. But the awards didn’t stop there, RFA also won Judge’s Choice for The Columbus Zoo and seven more Gold and Silver Addys […]

double the diva

They both claim it was purely a coincidence; however, you be the judge. Media’s Beth and Danita both happened to wear the exact same outfit to work today. The same black fur vest jacket, the same purple sweater, same jeans, same socks and black shoes. We’ve seen it at the Oscars before, but never here […]

king of the beasts

It was the roar heard around the world. USA Today Travel Guide has just ranked the Columbus Zoo the #1, top dog, numero uno, best of the best zoo in America! (Yep, even better than the San Diego Zoo.) So a big thumbs up, hooves up, claws up and fins up to everyone. We’re proud […]
