breakfast bunch

There’s no time like breakfast time…in Account Services. The Account Service gang cooked up a delicious meal on the back patio during a beautiful Spring morning. Egg, ham and cheese sandwiches. Donuts. Banana pancakes. And OJ to wash it all down. Not a bad way to kick off a Friday.

all 10” for emily!

After years of growing that hair of hers, Emily has finally gotten it cut. She donated 10″ of her flowing tresses to Locks of Love, a charity that provides hairpieces to disadvantaged kids suffering from long-term medical hair loss. Way to go Emily. p.s. We love the new do.

addys best of show 2009

It was a night to celebrate! (Some of us celebrated a little too much.) As we took top honors at this year’s Addy Awards for the Safelite Autoglass “Crack in the Sidewalk” campaign. But the awards didn’t stop there, RFA also won Judge’s Choice for The Columbus Zoo and seven more Gold and Silver Addys […]

double the diva

They both claim it was purely a coincidence; however, you be the judge. Media’s Beth and Danita both happened to wear the exact same outfit to work today. The same black fur vest jacket, the same purple sweater, same jeans, same socks and black shoes. We’ve seen it at the Oscars before, but never here […]

king of the beasts

It was the roar heard around the world. USA Today Travel Guide has just ranked the Columbus Zoo the #1, top dog, numero uno, best of the best zoo in America! (Yep, even better than the San Diego Zoo.) So a big thumbs up, hooves up, claws up and fins up to everyone. We’re proud […]

ho, ho, hip hop!

Tis’ the season for RFA’s annual holiday party. For the second year in a row it was held at Powell’s Maca Cafe. A cozy, hip hangout with plenty of great food (can’t get enough of that garlic shrimp), drink, and laughs for everyone. The night ended with a comedy sketch performed by our own Gene […]

marketing ohio to a hungry crowd

The appetizers were tasty. The salmon was delicious. And the desserts were amazing. But based on the enthusiastic response, we’d have to say the real crowd favorite at December’s American Marketing Association luncheon was our new Ohio Tourism campaign. Dave, Ron Jr. and State Tourism Director Amir Eylon presented the research, strategy, creative and media […]

the dynamic duo:  batman & cole-man

To help us promote Batman’s upcoming appearance at the Columbus Zoo, we recruited another protector of the city: Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman. As part of our fun, tongue-in-cheek campaign, Mayor Coleman proclaimed that the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium was changing its name to the “Gotham City Zoo and Aquarium.” Here’s our Sr. Audio Engineer Doug […]

rocky vii – a true underdog story

Who was the greatest of all time? If two athletes from two different eras could actually compete against one another who would come out on top? Well, we found out Friday in a packed RFA lobby. With all seats filled and standing room only left, Mike “Big Boy” Foth and Susie Shire went head to […]

wendy’s rocks the nation

Always looking for the newest way to connect with the customer, RFA Media steps up in a big way! That’s because we’ve struck a deal with Nationwide Arena (home of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets and host to a variety of the biggest concerts) to have our client Wendy’s be the sole sponsor of all […]
